Liver Fricassee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sliced liver
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. poultry season
    1/2 tsp. celery salt or celery leaves
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over liver; let stand 5 minutes.
    Drain, wipe dry and cut into strips.
    Dredge with the next 3 ingredients. Brown quickly in hot bacon fat (or other).
    Add rest of the ingredients.
    Simmer for 45 minutes.
    Thicken with a little flour. Serve with cooked noodles.
