English Muffin Loaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. Fleischmann's dry yeast
    6 c. unsifted flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. water
    cornmeal
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups (or 1/2) of the measured flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat liquid until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add dry mixture; beat well.
    Stir in remaining 3 cups of flour to make a stiff batter.
    Spoon into 2 (8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch) bread pans (greased and sprinkled with cornmeal).
    Sprinkle top with cornmeal.
    Cover; let rise in warm place for 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove immediately from pan and cool.
