Fettucini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. Romano cheese, grated
    2 (4 oz.) pkg. fettucini noodles
    2 (6 oz.) cans whole mushrooms, heated and drained (optional)
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix and cream the butter.
    Beat in whipping cream, a little at a time.
    Beat in cheeses.
    (If done ahead, chill; bring to room temperature to serve.) Toss with cooked, hot noodles.
    Serve at once.
