Special Chocolate Cremkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
powdered sugar
4 c. plain flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Cream thoroughly sugar, shortening and vanilla.
Add eggs, beating well, then chocolate.
Sift together dry ingredients. Blend in, alternating with milk.
Add nuts.
Chill 3 hours.
