German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
    1 box German chocolate dissolved in 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Add 1 egg at a time. Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Combine flour and salt.
    Gradually add flour and buttermilk alternately.
    Blend in melted chocolate. Add vanilla.
    Bake 3 layers at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
