Double Chocolate Drops(No Cholesterol; 40% Less Fat.) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. margarine
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 to 3 tsp. skim milk
Preparation

Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray coating; set cookie sheet aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the margarine with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
Add the brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda.
Beat until thoroughly combined, scraping the sides of the bowl occasionally.
Beat in the applesauce, egg and vanilla.
Beat in as much of the flour as you can with a mixer.
Stir in any remaining flour with a wooden spoon.
Stir in chocolate pieces.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on prepared cookie sheet. Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light brown.
Remove the cookies from the cookie sheet.
Cool on a wire rack.
In a small bowl, stir together the powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle over the cookies.
Store any leftover cookies in the freezer.
Makes about 36 cookies.
