Richmond Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
dash of salt
1 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, chocolate and salt.
Add water; cook until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Spread on cake while hot for a glossy frosting which remains soft and smooth.
