Creamy Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, at room temperature
    1 c. + 1 Tbsp. shortening
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 boxes 4x sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Beat until fluffy, then beat a little more.
    This may be tinted with food coloring.
    Should be kept cool after on cake.
    May be refrigerated.
