Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over the oatmeal.
    Set aside and cool.
    Combine the white sugar, brown sugar and oil.
    Add the eggs and cream together.
    Add the flour, soda, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Add the oatmeal mixture. Beat 3 minutes and bake in oblong pan for 25 or 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and frost.
