Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pinto beans
    2 lb. hamburger meat
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    1/4 to 1/3 c. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. crushed chili peppers
    28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
    salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cook beans as directed on package. In skillet, saute onions and bell pepper in cooking oil for about 1 minute.
    Add hamburger and brown, stirring often. Drain off fat.
    Add tomatoes, chili powder and chili pepper. Salt to taste and simmer about 15 minutes.
    Add all to beans. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
    For smaller amount, use half recipe.
