Cream Of Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. backfin crabmeat
    6 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 pt. half and half
    3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
    Old Bay seasoning
Preparation
    Remove cartilage from crabmeat.
    Melt butter in a large saucepan.
    Blend in flour.
    Stir until smooth.
    Slowly stir in chicken broth and pepper.
    Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add half and half slowly, and then the milk, slowly.
    Stir constantly until thick.
    Do not let it boil.
    Add crabmeat and salt.
    Sprinkle Old Bay seasoning over soup after it has been put in bowl.
    Serve hot.
