Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head iceberg lettuce
    1 box frozen peas
    6 eggs, hard-boiled and chopped
    1 lb. bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
    2 bunches chopped green onions
    2 c. grated Swiss cheese
    mayonnaise as needed
Preparation
    Combine top 5 ingredients in layers.
    Cover with Swiss cheese. Cover top with mayonnaise, sealing the edges.
    Let set for 24 hours.
    Mix well when ready to serve.
