Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) single pie crust
    3 bananas
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake crust until done. Cool. Line bottom of crust with bananas. Mix sugar, milk and cornstarch. Cook in double boiler until thick. In another bowl, beat egg yolks and add small amount of cooked mixture to yolks. Beat until smooth. Add yolk mixture to remaining cooked mixture. Cook about 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and add butter flavoring, vanilla, salt and butter. Let cool. Pour over bananas and top with Cool Whip.
