Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    24 marshmallows
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. nutmeats
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Drain juice from pineapple; add water to make at least 2 cups. Heat to boiling; add eggs, sugar, cornstarch and salt which have been beaten together.
    Cook until thick; remove from heat and add marshmallows.
    When dissolved, add pineapple and vanilla; cool, then add Cool Whip and nuts.
