Heavenly Caramel Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. chopped, peeled apples
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Beat together sugar, sour cream, eggs and vanilla on medium speed for 3 minutes. Mix dry ingredients, then add to sour cream mixture. Stir in apples and 1/3 cup pecans. Pour into greased loaf pan. Top with remaining pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Cool and remove from pan. Melt butter with brown sugar in saucepan and boil 1 minute. Drizzle on bread and serve with butter or cream cheese.
