Soda Cracker Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 c. granulated sugar
12 finely crumbled soda crackers
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. white vinegar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Beat eggs until stiff.
Add remaining ingredients.
Fill buttered 9-inch pie tin.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool. Cover top with apricot jam and whipped cream or soft ice cream.
