Chafing Dish Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 lb. large mushrooms, stems removed
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. sour cream
    paprika
Preparation
    Melt butter in electric skillet at 250\u00b0.
    Add mushrooms caps, round side up.
    Sprinkle garlic salt over mushrooms until completely covered (additional garlic salt may be needed); add onions, cover, leaving vent open.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the size of the mushrooms.
    Stir once.
    Drain butter. Fold in sour cream and sprinkle with paprika.
    (The butter can be used to saute the mushroom stems.)
