Velvet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 box strawberry or orange gelatin
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat pineapple and gelatin over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat and allow to cool.
    Combine Cool Whip, cream cheese and nuts.
    Add pineapple mixture.
    Stir well.
    Pour into Pyrex dish and congeal overnight.
