Mom'S Nutmeg Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. boiling water
4 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Gradually stir in 2 cups boiling water.
Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Stir in butter and nutmeg.
Keep hot until serving time.
Great on bread pudding, gingerbread or cottage pudding.
