Chicken Almond Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lean ground pork
    2 finely chopped onions
    1 bunch chopped celery
    2 cans water chestnuts (whole), quartered
    1 green pepper, chopped fine
    1 c. almonds, quartered
    3 pkg. Lipton chicken noodle soup
    1 c. mushrooms (optional)
    2 c. raw rice (not quick)
    9 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 pkg. Lipton Onion soup
Preparation
    Saute pork (pour off fat), onions, green pepper and celery for 10 minutes.
    Add other ingredients.
    Cook on top of stove for 5 minutes (large pan).
    Pour into two casseroles and bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour or until rice is soft and all liquid is absorbed.
    Serves 20.
