Spaghetti Carbonara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh pasta or 12 oz. dried pasta
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    2 eggs (room temperature)
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper flakes
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. soft butter (for pasta)
Preparation
    Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Saute in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and pour out all but 2 tablespoons of bacon fat. Saute onion in bacon fat for 3 to 4 minutes until soft.
