Aunt Tommie'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

2 eggs
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 unbaked pie shell

\"When our blackberry bushes at the Westwood Circle house in Decatur were full of berries, our boys, Alan and Mark, would start begging Granny Bertha Brooks Austin to come to our house to cook a Juice Pie.
Vernon and the boys didn't like the seeds in the berries so Bertha would put water on the berries, bring to boil, strain the juice and make a cobbler.
I always had to call her for the recipe so this may not be exactly right.\"
