Eggplant Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium eggplant
    1 1/2 c. cornbread crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 onion, chopped
    2 small cans tomato sauce
    1/2 lb. sliced cheese
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    salt to taste
    1 stick butter
    2 bell peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onion, bell pepper, garlic and salt.
    Set aside.
    Wash and peel eggplant; slice into rounds.
    Dip into beaten egg and roll in crumbs.
    Melt butter, 1/4 stick at a time, in a skillet and brown eggplant on both sides.
    Put eggplant in casserole dish, add a layer of meat mixture, cover with tomato sauce and top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until bubbly.
