Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 c. sliced carrots
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. diced parsley
4 c. chicken stock
1 1/3 lb. Velveeta cheese
1 tsp. salt and pepper
1/8 tsp. baking soda
dash of cayenne
1 tsp. paprika
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
4 c. milk
Preparation

Melt butter and saute vegetables.
Stir in flour and cornstarch.
Add stock and milk, gradually blending into a smooth sauce.
Add soda and cheese and stir until thickened.
Add salt, pepper and parsley.
Do not boil.
Garnish with paprika.
