Sausage And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into 2-inch chunks
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 large green peppers, cut into 1/2-inch wide strips
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (11 oz.) can condensed tomato bisque
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
Preparation
    In 10-inch covered skillet over medium heat, cook sausage and 2 tablespoons water for 5 minutes.
    Uncover; cook until sausage is browned on all sides.
    Add green peppers, onion and garlic; cook until vegetables are tender, stirring frequently.
    Stir in soup, 1/2 cup water and basil; reduce heat to low.
    Cover; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
