Caramel Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix with pudding
    1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 sticks melted butter
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Combine cake mix with melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Press 1/2 of mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
    Remove from oven; sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Melt caramels with remaining milk.
    Pour in pan. Cover with reserved cake mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cut into bars.
    Makes 3 dozen.
