Ham And Succotash Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    2 cans chicken broth
    2 c. frozen lima beans
    2 c. frozen whole kernel corn
    10 oz. ham, diced
    1 1/4 c. instant potato flakes
    1 c. 2% milk
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil until tender.
    Add thyme, celery seed, broth, beans, corn and ham.
    Boil on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add potato flakes, whisking in until thick and smooth, then stir in milk and bring to desired temperature.
