Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add well beaten eggs and spices. Dissolve soda in water; add to mixture.
    Add flour, jam, raisins, coconut and vanilla; beat well.
    Bake in 2 large pans for 30 to 40 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven, or until done.
