Croissants - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour (about)
    2 pkg. active dry yeast or 2 cakes compressed yeast
    1/2 c. warm water*
    3/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 egg yolk
Preparation
    Cream butter with 1/3 cup flour.
    Chill and roll out between 2 sheets of wax paper into an oblong 12 x 6 inches.
    Chill until ready to use.
