Chicken Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked chicken or turkey pieces
1/2 lb. fresh or canned mushrooms
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 medium diced onion
1 (6 oz.) pkg. seasoned long grain and wild rice
Preparation

Cut chicken or turkey into bite size pieces.
Wash mushrooms, pat dry and saute in butter with onion.
Follow package directions for firm rice.
Combine chicken, rice, mushrooms and onion.
Blend sour cream and undiluted mushroom soup.
Toss together with chicken mixture in a 2-quart casserole.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Makes 6 servings.
Double the ingredients to serve 10 to 12.
