Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. canned milk
    1 stick margarine
    12 large marshmallows
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 or 12 oz.) bag chocolate or peanut butter chips
    coconut or nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a heavy pan.
    Let boil for 5 minutes.
    Take off stove.
    Add the chips.
    Stir until chips are melted.
    Add the vanilla.
    Add nuts or coconut if desired.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Let set.
