Hawaiian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. chicken parts
    3/4 c. Kikkoman soy sauce (others too weak)
    1 piece ginger root, peeled and sliced size of first joint of thumb
    pieces green pepper
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    cornstarch (to thicken)
    pineapple chunks
Preparation
    In 3 quart
    pan,
    saute
    garlic and ginger root in oil. Dissolve sugar in
    soy
    sauce
    and add to pan.
    Heat to nearly boiling.
    Place raw
    chicken
    in
    mixture and bring to a boil. Lower heat\tand simmer until tender, turning chicken occasionally.
