Potato Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/3 c. butter
    4 to 5 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Beat mashed potatoes; add eggs, sugar, milk and butter.
    Beat well.
    Add yeast, that has been dissolved in water.
    Beat in flour and salt until smooth.
    Let rise until double.
    Roll dough out and cut into donuts.
    Let rise again.
    Fry in oil at 375\u00b0 until golden.
