Gladys Howard'S Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    2 pkg. yeast (dissolved in warm water)
Preparation
    Combine
    dry
    ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.\tStir in yeast and milk.
    Roll and cut as desired or make Parker House rolls. Bake
    on
    middle
    rack
    of oven at 450\u00b0.
    Dough may be covered and refrigerated as long as a week, using as needed.
