Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. zucchini
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 tsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 large onion, thin sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom, celery or chicken soup
    5 oz. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Slice zucchini 1/2-inch thick.
    Cook with onion until almost done; drain well.
    Cook rice as directed on package; reserve. Place zucchini mixture in buttered 9 x 12-inch shallow casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with rice.
    Mix soup and milk together, then pour over rice.
    Top with cheese slices; sprinkle top with bread crumbs that have been mixed with the melted butter or margarine.
    Place casserole in pan of water.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
