Buttermilk Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. shortening, softened
    2 c. buttermilk
    4 to 5 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix well and set in refrigerator immediately.
    This will keep up to a week in the refrigerator.
    Just pinch off and roll out the amount needed.
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0 and bake until golden brown.
