Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1/3 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
    1 1/4 c. pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell (deep dish)
    whipped cream for garnish
Preparation
    Melt chocolate with butter in the top of a double boiler. Remove from heat; cool slightly.
    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and syrup in a mixing bowl.
    Beat to blend.
    Add cooled chocolate and butter mixture.
    Beat to blend.
    Place pecans in the bottom of the pie shell.
    Pour egg mixture over pecans.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven 40 to 50 minutes.
    The top should be soft and the center not fully set when shaken.
    Serve with whipped cream.
