Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice, lightly packed
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 c. whole milk
    1/4 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. lemon peel
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook rice and drain well.
    Put butter in drained hot rice to melt or melt it in a small pan.
    Add sugar, salt and milk and stir.
    Add eggs and blend well.
    Add raisins, if desired, and lemon peel and mix to blend.
    Turn into buttered baking dish and sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 45 to 55 minutes or until done.
