Easy Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine or 1 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
3 large apples, chopped
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Mix ingredients in order.
Bake in prepared tube pan approximately 40 minutes (350\u00b0).
Frost with simple powdered sugar glaze while warm, if desired.
