Apple Cake Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium apples, pared and sliced
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter or shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
Preparation
-
Place apples in pie plate.
Sprinkle with mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Remove foil and cover apples with batter made from remaining ingredients.
Bake 20 minutes longer.
