Pumpkin Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
3/4 c. pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs; mix well.
Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin.
Stir in vanilla and nuts. Spread evenly in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool; spread with Orange Frosting.
Yield:
12 servings.
