Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. (4 serving size) lime flavor gelatin
rind of 1/4 lime, cut up
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. lime juice
2 eggs, separated
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
9-inch baked pastry shell or graham cracker crust
Preparation

Put gelatin and lime rind into blender container.
Add boiling water.
Cover and blend at medium speed until gelatin is dissolved and rind is finely chopped.
Add lime juice and egg yolks.
Cover, blend at medium speed until thoroughly mixed.
Add condensed milk. Cover and blend at medium speed until mixed.
Beat egg whites with electric mixer until stiff, but not dry.
Fold gently into lime mixture.
Turn into crust.
Chill until set.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
