Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil (Wesson)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 oz. red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream oil, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour and salt and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Add soda and vanilla.
    Add red food coloring, mixing well.
    Bake in three 8-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
