Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 prepared pie crust
    2 lb. (4 large) Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. unsalted butter
    3 large eggs, beaten
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Saute onions in butter in large skillet until crisp-tender.
    Remove from heat.
