Apple Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. Musselman's apple butter
    3/4 c. softened butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ground cloves.
    Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Combine buttermilk and apple butter.
    Add alternately with the flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.
    Pour into 2 greased 9-inch round pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool thoroughly on cake rack.
    Frost cooled cake with creamy vanilla frosting.
