Beef And Biscuits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated buttermilk or country biscuits
    1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 c. dairy sour cream
    2 Tbsp. minced onion (dry)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion
    and
    pepper in large skillet. Drain grease.
    Stir in
    tomato
    sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Simmer while
    preparing
    dough.
    Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits.
    Layer over
    the\tbottom\tof
    ungreased 8 to 9-inch square baking pan.\tCombine
    1/2
    cup
    cheese
    (reserve remaining cheese for topping),
    sour\tcream and egg; mix well. Remove meat mixture from heat
    and stir in sour cream mixture; spoon over dough.
    Arrange
    remaining\tbiscuit
    layers on top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake
    at
    375\u00b0
    for
    25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
