Sausage Cornbread Bake - cooking recipe

1 lb. sausage
1 large onion, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. cream-style corn
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Grease pan.
Brown sausage and onion; drain well.
Combine eggs, cornmeal, milk and oil.
Pour half of cornmeal mixture into dish.
Sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese.
Pour remaining batter over top.
Cook at 425\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
