Red Hot Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. cinnamon oil
    1 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in a heavy saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until it reaches hard-crack stage.
    Add cinnamon oil and food coloring.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Let cool.
    Remove from pan and break into small pieces.
    Store tightly sealed.
