(Uncooked) Figs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. crushed peeled figs (use metal blades of food processor)
    1 box (1 3/4 oz.) Sure-Jell
    1 c. Karo (white) syrup
    5 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix crushed fruit and Sure-Jell and let stand 20 minutes.
    Add Karo syrup and stir well.
    Add sugar and stir thoroughly.
    Place in containers and freeze.
    Good on biscuits, toast or as a topping for ice cream.
