Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 7 tart apples or 2 (No. 2) cans (5 c.) sliced pie apples, drained
    1 (9-inch) deep dish pastry shell (unbaked)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon (can use 3/4 tsp.)
    1/2 c. sugar (can use 1/3 c.)
    3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
    1/3 c. butter or oleo (can use 6 Tbsp.)
Preparation
    Pare apples; cut in eighths.
    Arrange in unbaked pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
    Mix second 1/2 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter or oleo until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
